It's the Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog.
Wanderers in search of Ost Dunhoth will encounter this small white terror, properly guarding a nearby cave surrounded by destruction and pools of blood. Monty Python fans will recognize it immediately and will Run Awaaaaaaaay! I swear I didn't soil my armour the first time I saw him.
Don't let his 1 point of Morale fool you. I haven't come across a Holy Handgrenade of Arthedain yet, so until that time I'm giving him a wide berth.
Bravo Turbine for this fun bit of Pythonesque tribute.
Props to my Council of Eriador kinmate, Noodly, for bumping this Cracked Egg up on my list!
Rar awesome! I love the term "cracked eggs"
ReplyDeleteMy son pointed out the rabbit to me. My high level champ was a bit reluctant to try to loose an arrow at the beast least it turn it's furry wrath and pointy teeth towards me.
ReplyDeleteI approve this comment lol!
DeleteWhen you post stuff like this, could you include coordinates so others can locate the place easily? Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI certainly can, if I think about it lol. Then again, there's still the fun aspect of exploring! But I know what you mean, and had considered doing so with another post and simply forgot. Since I probably won't be going back there soon, if you can locate the gate to Ost Dunhoth, which is easy to find on things like the Dynamap, it is just to the right, or west, as you face the gate - opposite the small camp with the muster horn. Thanks for the suggestion!
DeleteHaha, I had to go see this for myself. Thanks for pointing it out.
ReplyDeleteFYI, the rabbit is located at 73.9S, 20.3W. I tried attacking it, but was told I could not harm target.
